Why does it squeak so loud when I apply the brakes? And can it be eliminated?
Hello,
Very common issue with any bicycle, and is very easy to fix. The brake pads are not aligned properly, what you need to do is called "toeing" the brakes. Here is a great video on how to toe your brakes to avoid the squealing noise that an occur. -
Can the handbrake on the 3 speed be mounted on the rear tire as opposed to the front or does the 3 speed have coaster brakes? If so can a three speed be configured without a coaster brake?

Unfortunately, we don't have a free-wheel option for the Around The Block. The 3-Speed Around The Block Models all have coaster brakes and the front hand brake, and there are no mounting points for a rear hand brake.
